FEMA Outstanding Public Service Award The Rolla dosimeter manufacturing facility was presented with an Outstanding Public Service by FEMA in April, 1991. The award was given to the plant for its outstanding effort in surge production of dosimeters and shipping approximately 18,000 instruments to Saudi Arabia to support the U.S. Army during Desert Shield / Desert Storm.
